Epistemology Is An Art

Dorian. C. Major: Somebody asked me why I read things that are not required to be read for college. Well I mean Nietzsche and Emerson believed that education should stem from nonconformity and a strong pedagogic relationship and that one should apprehend external knowledge and seek knowledge based on belief and self-reflection. And whilst I am reluctant to believe and accept everything that Emerson or Nietzsche or Terrence McKenna say and preach, it is essential to try and view the world from such perspectives and accumulate a collection of ideals that positions oneself in the pool of self awareness and thus forming ones own nonconforming ideals based on credible and logical guidance. An epistemological foundation to ones thoughts and opinions is fundamental and that can only be self-attained; it cannot be bought or given.
